This is the home of the Oxford region Trauma and Orthopaedic Registrars. Our region is centred upon the historic University town of Oxford and extends from Reading in the South to Milton Keynes in the North, and from Swindon in the West to Windsor in the East.

Our speciality deals with conditions that affect the musculo-skeletal system, including those that affect the bone, joints muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.

We are higher specialist trainees who have a basic surgical training and who are aiming to become Specialist Consultant Surgeons in Orthopaedics and Trauma. The Higher Surgical Training programme lasts for six years, with regular teaching, assessment and appraisal.
